Individual Psychotherapy Services
Offering Teletherapy for those in California
Individual psychotherapy to help men transcend anxiety in all its forms so they can feel more grounded, confident, and alive.
Some days, it feels like everything is too much.
Maybe you’re struggling with constant rumination, which keeps your mind and body on overdrive, draining you of your precious energy. The activities you used to enjoy may feel like chores.
Self-doubt may rear its ugly head in the form of harsh self-criticism, over-cautiousness, perfectionism, or an excessive fear of failure.
Relationships might be strained, tempting you to overly appease others to seek their approval, put on a mask to avoid social risks and rejection, or to isolate yourself altogether.

My rate is $175 per 50 minute session.

My practice is private pay and does not participate in insurance networks. This means payment is due at the time of service. If your insurance plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, you may be able to receive reimbursement by submitting session receipts to your insurer. Coverage varies by plan, so we recommend checking directly with your provider. I am happy to provide the necessary documentation.
-
I typically do not offer sliding scale fees. In limited circumstances, reduced fees may be considered based on availability and individual need. Please feel free to inquire if you believe this may apply to your situation.
-
I kindly ask that clients give me 24 hour notice when cancelling a session, otherwise you will be charged the full fee for the session.
-
The first session is an intake session where I get a sense of what’s bringing you in, what your goals are, what you think is important to tell me about yourself, and any other relevant information.Item description

I don’t believe that anyone can give a concrete answer to this question since it depends on each client’s presenting issues, goals, and therapy progress. Therapy is generally available to my clients for as long as we both see fit. Some clients may prefer short-term therapy while others may prefer long-term therapy. There is no one-size-fits-all.

If you give me written permission to consult with another provider to coordinate care (a doctor, psychiatrist, etc.)
If your records are subpoenaed during legal proceedings
